1. To promote Carnatic music as well as other forms of classical music and dance of the Indian sub-continent in New Zealand.
2. To organise events where artists from New Zealand as well as from other parts of the world can perform and educate a wider audience in New Zealand regarding the nuances of classical music and dances of the Indian subcontinent.
3. Build a society where members closely interact and keep the classical music culture alive in Wellington.
